Join a global team to create AI-driven solutions in healthcare, with ample opportunities for growth and learning in a creative workplace.

Recognized as a Forbes Best Startup Employer in 2025 , this award highlights our focus on being a destination for the best and brightest talent. Not only have we experienced unprecedented growth since our market debut in 2020, but we’ve also created a remarkable mission and value-driven environment that is loved by our growing team. With a recent valuation of $4 billion, we are in a phase of hyper growth and expansion, and we’re looking for individuals with passion, commitment, and energy to help us scale our global impact.
Joining Sword means committing to a set of core values, chief amongst them to “do it for the patients” every day, and to always “deliver more than expected” on behalf of our members and clients.
This is an opportunity for you to make a significant difference on a massive scale as you work alongside 1000+ (and growing!) talented colleagues, spanning three continents. Your charge? To help us build a pain-free world, powered by AI, enhanced by people — accessible to all.
The Sword Trainee Program is not about playing it safe, it’s where your career meets real-world impact. Over 12 months, you’ll be part of a global team using technology to solve human problems at scale, and you’ll do meaningful work from day one. You’ll build and question, and be pushed to think deeper and move faster. Here, you won’t just apply what you learned in school — you’ll stretch it, test it, and turn it into solutions. If you’re looking for purpose, ownership, and a steep learning curve, this is your launchpad. And if you're ready to turn your potential into something that matters, we’re ready for you.
You can expect your work to be impactful in this role, as you contribute to the different products at Sword, from start to finish. This will demand your design and software engineering skills as well as a product-eye to perform data analysis and retrieve insights on the success of our strategies.
Our Algorithms team is a technically versatile Software Engineering team that thrives at solving complex and ambiguous problems. This is done by implementing (mostly) real-time algorithms that process different types of data. They are the team that builds the engine of our Digital Therapist, the ones behind our motion tracking, either with motion sensors or computer vision. They also contribute to the efforts of extracting insights and developing algorithms used in our wearable devices for Mind (mental health) and Move (movement health), as well as for Bloom (pelvic health).
