Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Computer Vision Data Engineer to design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for image, video, and metadata assets. You will develop high-performance media processing services using Java, FFmpeg, and OpenCV, and containerize solutions with Docker.

You will collaborate with CV engineers, MLOps, and platform teams to ensure data readiness, pipeline reliability, and cost-efficient processing across high-volume media workloads in a US federal government context.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience building computer vision or media data pipelines.
• Strong ETL background with complex transformations and metadata generation.
• Hands-on with NiFi, Prefect, Docker, FFmpeg, or OpenCV.
• Experience with images, videos, and metadata structures.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for computer vision workloads, including ingestion, transformation, and delivery of image, video, and metadata assets.
• Implement and manage automated workflow orchestration using NiFi and Prefect.
• Develop high-performance media processing services and tools using Java, FFmpeg, and OpenCV.
• Containerize and deploy data services using Docker.
• Collaborate closely with computer vision engineers, MLOps, and platform teams to ensure data readiness and pipeline reliability.
• Optimize processing steps for speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and testing strategies to ensure pipeline stability and data quality.
