The role focuses on ETL, metadata generation, and scalable processing of image and video data, with hands-on work across media pipelines and associated tooling.

The ideal candidate will implement automated workflows using NiFi and Prefect, containerize services with Docker, and apply FFmpeg/OpenCV expertise to produce reliable, high-quality data streams

Proven experience building and maintaining computer vision or media-centric data pipelines.
Strong ETL background involving complex transformations, metadata generation, and media normalization.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for computer vision workloads, including ingestion, transformation, and delivery of image, video, and metadata assets.
Implement and manage automated workflow orchestration using NiFi and Prefect.
Develop high-performance media processing services and tools using Java, FFmpeg, and OpenCV.
Containerize and deploy data services using Docker.
Collaborate with computer vision engineers, MLOps, and platform teams to ensure data readiness and pipeline reliability.
Optimize processing steps for speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Establish monitoring, logging, and testing strategies to ensure pipeline stability and data quality.
