As a Computer Vision (CV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer you will design deep learning models and computer vision pipelines to identify, count, and track store merchandise. The role focuses on fine‑tuning object detection models, processing high-resolution shelf images, and deploying edge AI solutions to accurately audit inventory in dynamic store environments. Additionally, you will create new and enhance current AI product offerings as well as support Badger’s AI offerings in the field. You will consult on system architectures, assess technical requirements and competencies, and point out shortcomings to produce a high‑quality product. In addition, in this role you will interface with outside vendors used in developing AI solutions, revise and deploy enhanced AI Robotics solutions, develop new testing methodologies to stress the capabilities of current products, and collaborate with ROS engineers to improve solution performance.
