Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join the team. This role is 100% virtual/work from home, but we prefer candidates who reside near one of our major work locations (Examples: Baltimore, MD, Northern VA/Washington D.C, Redondo Beach, CA,)

Roles And Responsibilities Will Include

  • Perform as primary Virtualization Administrator for the Enterprise Services organization.
  • Virtual server infrastructure support, project support; incident, change and problem management, implementation & resolution, operating system security & patch management, installation, configuration, upgrade of Hypervisor (VMware and Nutanix)
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written or oral format.
  • On-Call Support to assist in resolving Infrastructure Virtualization outages.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate standards, policies, principles, and practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree (will consider additional experience in lieu of education ie. Associate’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.)
  • Experience working with one or more: VMware vSphere or Nutanix AHV, scripting tools.
  • Experience of Infrastructure Hardware and Service management Tools.
  • Experience on Windows or Linux Operating Systems
  • Ability to work with other IT infrastructure as required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage projects and use creative thinking to achieve objectives.
  • Assist with touch labor activities depending on location.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to create solutions using one or more developments tools or platforms: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, and or markup languages such as YAML / JSON or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Experience with project management tools and presenting project data status, risk and deliverables to key stakeholders
  • Knowledge about IT security procedures
  • An Active Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Customer relationship skills - must have a passion for customer support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles
  • ITIL and Service Management knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of network technologies in a large, distributed environment.

Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
