Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support information system lifecycle activities for flight test networks at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. On-site, full-time role at VSFB, CA with a Secret clearance requirement.

Responsibilities include network maintenance, security design, and documentation; candidates will work within the Launch Execution Networking Team to support mission-critical systems and collaborations across DoD networks.

Qualificações

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree; an additional 4 years may substitute.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance at time of application and able to obtain SAP approval.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and IOSXE switches/routers; Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
• Knowledge of network protocols, LANS, VLANs, OSPF, STP, LACP, GRE; DoD 8140 cyber requirements.

Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

The Northrop Grumman Launch Execution Networking Team is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support information system lifecycle activities in support of flight test networks at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), CA. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our VSFB, CA location.

What you’ll get to do:

• Provide day-to-day network maintenance to include installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of switched networks and network equipment
• Research, design and implement security solutions for network infrastructure
• Support design, price, and implementation of network systems.
• Assist in engineering network solutions for new & existing systems.
• Provide networking equipment inventory management and documentation
• Document network information including of all switching and routing equipment, connected IP-addressable devices and cabling interconnects
• Participate in project planning
• Track and report identified information system vulnerabilities
• Monitor, review, analyze, tune, and make recommendations to optimize network
• Manage, configure, and install firewall security appliances
• Assist in the creation of test plans and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree;
• 0 years of experience with a Master’s Degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 yrs), with an ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
• Background working with Cisco IOS and IOSXE switches and routers
• Experience with Unix, Linux and Windows environments and processes.
• Experience with troubleshooting, deploying, configuration and management of hardware to include routers, switches, firewalls
• Knowledge Working with Network Protocols, LANS, VLANs, OSPF, STP, LACP and GRE.
• Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Cybersecurity (722) – (Example: Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
• Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance, to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered

• Experience with multiple network vendors and operating systems.
• Experience with Wide Area Networks and commensal circuit requests.
• Experience with ISR assets.

Primary Level Salary Range:

$83,400.00 - $125,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

• Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
• Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
