Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Computer Scientist - Intermediate.

Background:

In support of DISA TEC II Unified Instrumentation, performs professional assignments in the general area of computer hardware, software, and firmware such as: computer system protocol analysis, computer operations, programming, database structuring and management, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) of C5ISR, Automated Information Systems (AIS), and Information Technology and Security System (IT/NSS).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates familiarity in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Work requires thorough knowledge of recent developments and technologies in the specialty area, as well as proficiency in high-level .
  • Defines system requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
  • Designs new solutions or recommend improvements to existing implementations.
  • Responsible for designing and developing technical standards and functionality tests for new capabilities.
  • Responsible for the development of specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.
  • Responsibilities may include specific software code development and maintenance, and the development, documentation, and maintenance of test automation in accordance with quality assurance standards.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Typically reports to a project leader, supervisor, or manager.
  • Must be adept at problem-solving, identifying risk, and communicating results and recommendations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Security Clearance: DoD SECRET Level Clearance Required

Travel Required: Approximately 10%

Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0800-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

Place of Performance: Remote

Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Related certifications may be substituted for 1 year of experience; to include but not limited to:
    • DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level 1/2/3
    • ENG Level 1/2/3
    • CTEP
    • Applicable U.S. Federal or DoD school training and certification on related system, network, or technology.
  • Experience working in the Agile Development Process
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Successful experience working in a team environment.
