Job description

nDepth Security is currently seeking a Computer Scientist to support one of our projects in the Maryland area. The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Designing, developing, testing, and documenting software code. Planning, analyzing, programming, and implementing coding practices.
2. Developing software applications.
3. Developing Client/server applications.
4. Analyzing and implementing Legacy and current processor technology.
5. Analyzing and implementing Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces.
6. Developing code using Assembly and high-level programming languages.
7. Reverse engineering software/code.
8. Developing embedded software.
9. Communicating status of work.

Required Qualifications:

1. Three (3) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university.
2. A Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
3. Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
