Job Description Summary

The purpose of this role is to assist Jozef Goetz in grading sections of CMPS 218 & CMPS 319 Publishing on the Web labs, projects and assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Passing CMPS 218 with a minimum grade of A-. Must be a current University of La Verne student.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience gained in CMPS 218 and 319, such as: Understanding the concepts and building blocks of Web pages with HTML 5 and CSS 3.
  • Knowing how to design, write, and test static websites, including mobile websites.
  • The ability to code static websites in HTML and CSS by hand.
  • The ability to build a complete static website using development life cycle, modern design principles, web design best practices, and tools such as Web Developer, Toolbar for Mozilla Firefox/Chrome, Notepad++, WinSCP, HTML and CSS Validators.
  • The ability to create and publish websites.
  • The ability to create project and homework assignment documentation, as well as to understand programming documentation, will be applied effectively.
Work Schedule

12 Hours per week.
