Responsibilities

• Leverage Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to analyze and maintain data for programmatic needs; build macros and tools; work with large data sets.
• Perform Automated and Manual Developmental and Operational Testing, such as Power Automate flows to schedule file refreshes.
• Develop and support PowerApps and SharePoint databases; connect to Dataverse or data sources; develop Power BI reports and use PowerQuery for data integration.
• Assist with generating meeting briefs, typically in Microsoft PowerPoint, with variations as needed.
• Install and configure software, hardware and networks; ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, identify requirements, install upgrades; maintain and upgrade a web system.
• Create backups, enable data safeguards; perform account setup for new and existing employees; track emerging technologies and implement them.
• Apply security patching and STIGs; familiar with VMware, virtual machines, OpenShift, Linux, Windows, networking, scripting (PowerShell, Shell), and DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Project,Access, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) to develop macros and tools to analyze and maintain data for programmatic needs; efforts include work with large data sets that will be integrated into different management tools, databases and reports. Additional familiarity or ability to learn to use PowerQuery for data consolidation between Excel Spreadsheets and with PowerBi reports.
• Perform Automated and Manual Developmental and Operational Testing, such as PowerAutomate flows to schedule file refreshes
• PowerApps and Sharepoint Support. Develop and support the maintenance of PowerApps and Sharepoint databases by building custom apps that connect to data stored either in the underlying data platform (Microsoft Dataverse) or in various online and on-premises data sources (such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Planner, PowerApps, Power Automate). This also include development and maintenance of PowerBi Reports and use of PowerQuery in Excel and PowerBi to assist with data integration and analysis aspects from other parts of the statement of work.
• Assist with generating meeting briefs. Meeting briefs are typically generated in Microsoft Power Point but depending on the nature of the meeting/brief, the medium may vary.
• Install and configure software, hardware and networks
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Identify system requirements and install upgrades
• Maintains, secure and upgrade a web system
• Create a backup and safeguard the data
• Perform account setup for new and old employees

• Familiar with:
  • VMware environment (vCenter, vSAN, vSphere, etc)
  • Virtual Machines technology
  • Containerize software platforms (OpenShift)
  • Linux server and client software

  • Networking practices and protocols
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, Shell Scripting)
  • DOD System Hardening (DISA STIG process)

Qualifications

• COMPUTER PROGRAMMER:
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited college or university in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks. This experience should include at least three (3) years with Power BI/Power Apps.
• Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
