Job summary

IntelliBee in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Computer Operations Operator to monitor BPE/TPE transactions and all environmental, security, electrical and UPS systems in a large data center. You will check network systems to ensure statewide access and work with vendors for hardware/software support, ensuring printed output quality and adherence to production controls.

Ideal candidates have NOC experience, ITIL familiarity, and hands-on data center skills across HVAC, power, raised floors, and fire

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in IT with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience as Computer Operator in a large data center.
• Experience with NOC, production control, and distributed servers (AIX/Linux/Windows).
• Experience with data center HVAC, electrical power, UPS, and raised floors.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Change/Incident/Problem/Asset Management.
• Experience with security in data centers and fire detection/suppression.
• Experience with Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BPE/TPE transactions and all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems.
• Check network systems to ensure statewide access and output quality.
• Work with vendors for hardware/software support and maintenance.
• Adhere to change, incident, problem, and asset management processes.
• Maintain documentation and support business continuity practices.

Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Computer Operations Operator in a large data center.
• Exp w/a Network Operations Center (NOC). Exp w/production control.
• Exp with distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
• Exp w/data center security, HVAC and electrical in a data center.
• Exp w/Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager.

Qualifications:

• Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience
