Job summary

My3tech is seeking an on-site IT operations professional for a long-term weekend shift in Atlanta. Duties include monitoring environmental, electrical, UPS, and network systems, plus coordinating with vendors and ensuring high-quality printed output within a large mainframe-centric setup.

The role requires on-site presence, weekend hours (7pm–7am, Sat/Sun) with 16 additional hours weekly, and a background in NOC/Data Center operations. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• 2 years experience with Production Control and ITIL practices.
• 2 years experience with automated job schedulers and change management.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer and peripheral equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Monitor transactions and environmental/UPS/Electrical systems in a large IT environment.
• Coordinate with vendors for hw/sw support and ensure output quality.
• Ensure statewide access to networked systems and maintain documentation.

Under general supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large centralized IT system.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience
