Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Computer Operator to join the Richmond, VA team supporting DLA Enterprise Service Delivery. The role requires a Secret clearance, 1 year of relevant experience, and active IAT II/III certifications. You will work on IT operations, OS/Tape management, and system automation tasks in a Federal environment.

The position entails local travel and office work with a scheduleMon–Fri; evenings/weekends may be needed to meet program needs. TekSynap offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity
• IAT II or III certifications include Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED or GCIH
• DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Help Desk Tier II & III — may be obtained on day 1
• Must have a valid state driver’s license, personal vehicle and proof of insurance

• Ability to operate a wide variety of system components to include hardware, software, and mass storage technology.
• Ability to operate, under supervision, communications-computer systems, and install, implement, maintain and tune operating systems, disk and tape management systems, and computer operations automation software.
• Requires local travel using personal vehicle, company van, cart or other motorized vehicle.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $42,000 - $48,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
