Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Computer Operator to join the DLA Enterprise Service Delivery team in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports computer-based systems operations, testing, and ticket workload management for our federal government customers.

The position requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a Secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity, and one of several IAT II/III certifications. Local travel and a valid driver’s license with insurance are required.

Qualifications

  • One year of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity.
  • One of the following active IAT II or III certifications: Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
  • DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Help Desk Tier II & III - may be obtained on day 1
  • Must have valid state driver’s license, personal vehicle and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing technical operation and testing of various fully integrated computer-based systems under supervision.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize a workload of assigned tickets.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and leadership in a team-focused environment.
  • Seamlessly transition from daily operations to project actions, and vice-versa.
  • Receive and follow guidance and SOPs provided by contract and government leadership.
  • Adapt to new situations and policies in a developing technical world.
  • Operate a wide variety of system components including hardware, software, and mass storage technology.
  • Operate, under supervision, communications-computer systems and install, implement, maintain and tune operating systems, disk and tape management systems, and computer operations automation software.
  • Willingness to travel locally as required (using various vehicles).

Wage Information

Target salary range: $42,000 - $50,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
