Position Overview

The CNC Operator I is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC and conventional machines to manufacture precision components that meet production and quality standards. This role performs machine setup, part inspection, program adjustments, and basic machining operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

CNC Machine Operations
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines under the direction of supervisors.
  • Load CNC programs and perform simple program edits when required.
  • Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and workholding devices for production.
  • Produce precision components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
Quality Control & Inspection
  • Inspect and measure finished parts using handheld measuring tools.
  • Verify components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
