We are a rapidly growing organization in the Paramus, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a CNC Operations Manager to join our professional team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

The CNC Machine Operator Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the CNC machining department. This role involves supervising a team of CNC machine operators, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and performing hands-on machining tasks when necessary. The foreman will also coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of CNC machine operators across multiple shifts or machines.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, as needed.
• Assign jobs to operators based on skill level and production priorities.
• Monitor production output and ensure it meets specifications and deadlines.
• Perform quality inspections on machined parts and assist in root cause analysis for any non-conformance.
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols and ensure operators follow all safety guidelines.
• Train new operators and provide ongoing coaching and skill development for team members.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired promptly.
• Track and report daily production metrics and provide input on process improvements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum AA Degree or completed trade school study relevant toward CNC machine manufacturing. Or the experience and track record relevant to the role.
• 10 years’ experience working in a highly dynamic, metric driven, close tolerance manufacturing environment, with responsibilities in machine operation, programming, and cutting tool selection and maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising machine operators, process and equipment in a highly dynamic, metric driven, close tolerance manufacturing environment
• Hand on team leadership experience including supervision, goal setting, problem solving and follow up.
• Direct experience with root cause analysis associated with CNC machine tools, cutting tools and human performance.
• Passion for precision and efficiency
• Excellent MS Office and design software skills
