Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to provide full-range onsite support for a base of large, complex clients in New Orleans. You will own onsite service activities and perform advanced maintenance on products, including installations as needed.

You will contribute to service metrics, document processes, and mentor teammates. A high school diploma or GED is required with technical certification or an Associate Degree preferred, and typically 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs.
• Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team.
• Proactively supports the needs of other team members, providing technical assistance and expertise.
• Contributes to improved client services metrics reporting and documentation.
• Monitors technical and process issues, proactively informing the manager and/or team on offering improvement recommendations.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
