We are seeking highly motivated Computer Engineers to join our Access and Evaluation (A&E) Department within the Multimodal Sensing and Systems (MSS) Division of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State. As part of the MSS Division, you will support our mission by focusing on nascent technologies in electromagnetics, electromagnetic maneuver warfare, quantum sciences and sensors through cross‑division and cross‑office collaborations.
For Research and Development Engineer – Advanced Professional: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and 5+ years of relevant experience.
For Research and Development Engineer – Intermediate Professional: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and 2+ years of relevant experience.
For Research and Development Engineer – Professional: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; no prior relevant work experience required.
Full onsite in State College, PA.
All positions require candidates to possess the ability to obtain a government security clearance; you will be notified during the interview process if this position is subject to a government background investigation. U.S. citizenship required.
