Job summary

Hanwha Power is seeking a motivated CAD drafter trainee in New York to join our manufacturing support team. You will be trained by a qualified team to produce models, drawings and other electronic data files for the manufacture of Gas Turbine Engine components.

A mentor will be assigned to help guide your development. Responsibilities include modeling and drafting with CREO and GOM, creating data files that support part definition for manufacturing, and producing drawings that convey design

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; drafting coursework preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a professional, friendly, team environment.
• Reliable and able to commit a schedule.
• 3D printing experience is a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Higher education with coursework in Mechanical Drafting preferred.
