Role Description

The Computer Aided Design Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Spokane, WA. This role is responsible for preparing detailed mechanical and plumbing drawings using CAD software, including plans, sections, and elevations that support engineering design and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering and architectural sketches, updating and revising drawings, maintaining drawing standards, and organizing project files. The drafter collaborates with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues, ensure accuracy and consistency across drawing sets, and support coordination with other disciplines. The role also involves applying relevant codes and standards as directed, performing quality checks on drawings, and assisting in preparing documents for permitting and construction.
