Job summary

Sanford Health, Bemidji Medical Center in Bemidji, MN, is seeking a CAD technician to maintain digital facility square footage and plan documentation. You will assist in project design, review codes, and produce drawings for remodels, while coordinating with architecture firms.

Applicants should have AutoCAD coursework and 2+ years CAD experience; Revit and Adobe/SketchUp tools are preferred. This on-site role supports life-safety planning and ADA compliance across campus.

Qualifications

• Trade or vocational school courses in AutoCAD design.
• At least two years of CAD-related experience or at least four years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and/or Google SketchUp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current digital facility square footage and plan documentation.

• Involved in new building construction review and design for budgetary remodels or refurbish work.
• Produce drawings but not responsible for interpretation or design.
• Maintain allocation or cost reports for firewalls and device locations.

Work with construction and safety teams to create and update drawings in AutoCad and Revit. Open to AutoCad new grads!

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining current digital facility square footage and plan documentation. Assist in project design, review and the documentation of department codes and square footages from various architecture firms. Involved in new building construction review and the design process for budgetary remodels or refurbish work. Works with the production of drawings, but not the interpretation or design.

Must maintain allocation or cost reports for firewalls, location of devices.

Work with code requirements, including but not limited to, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), keep and update life safety plans, and ensure the proper code classes for smaller project redesigns.

Qualifications
