Job summary

Vaia GmbH in Utah seeks a Computer Aide to teach computer classes for grades K-6 as part of the Specials schedule. You will plan engaging lessons, manage the Computer Lab with Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, and projectors, and support outdoor activities when needed.

Under the supervision of the Building Principal, you will help establish positive classroom routines, maintain lab equipment, and report progress. A High School diploma and being at least 18 years old are required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in teaching or computer labs is a plus.

Computer Aide Position

Under the direct supervision of the Building Principal, teach Computer classes as a part of the Specials schedule to grades K-6. Essential Job Functions include planning and instructing engaging and age-appropriate computer skill lessons, establishing and reinforcing positive class management, and managing and maintaining the Computer Lab. Additional duties may be assigned.

Equipment includes Chromebook, Laptop, Desktop, and Laptop Equipment, Projector.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, perform physical activities without difficulty, work with diverse groups of individuals, maintain confidentiality of information, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required, effective writing and verbal communication skills, and ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.

Qualifications include any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to a High School diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
