Job summary

Jackson Healthcare seeks an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Libertyville, IL to perform CT imaging, interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT equipment for inpatient and outpatient care.

You will work in a high-volume hospital setting with EPIC charting and support trauma and stroke care. This 40-hour assignment offers orientation, PPE provided, free parking, and comprehensive travel benefits including housing and license reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience including general CT and vascular procedures.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting.
• Experience in a busy hospital setting with trauma and stroke care preferred.

Job description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Libertyville, IL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to support inpatient and outpatient care including general CT and vascular studies. The position requires proficiency in EPIC charting and working within a high-volume clinical environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience, including general CT and vascular procedures.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification for CT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACR and IEMA certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting required.
• Experience working in a busy hospital setting, including trauma and stroke patient care preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred.
• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center, Level II NICU, or teaching hospital preferred.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred but first-time travelers may be considered upon review.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1:30 pm start to 12:00 am end.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Approximate patient volume: 50 patients per shift.
• Orientation: at least one shift to learn unit flow.
• Supervisor support provided on unit.
• Appropriate PPE provided.
