Job Description

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for a Full-Time Day Shift position, Tuesday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance are available.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand IVs, heparin locks, and central line usage related to CT procedures, as observed by supervisors and peers.
• Perform ancillary tasks to maintain departmental efficiency.
• Accurately identify patients and their files, ensuring no mislabeled films, images, or EMR charts.
• Track patients per department procedures; identify and correct errors promptly using EMR, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings with documented attendance.

Additional Requirements

• Work Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm
• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• License & Certification: ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist; CT Certification within one year of employment; BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Prior hospital or healthcare environment experience as a Radiologic or CT Technologist is preferred.
