DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking Computed Tomography Technologists to support JBSA - Lackland, in San Antonio, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine and emergent CT procedures/services as appropriate to the TO
  • Provide administrative assistance, this may include scheduling, reception of patients, burning CD’s for patient records and accomplishing procedural instructions
  • Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures
  • Provide training to staff and the phase II students in the performance of CT examinations and procedures as required
  • Observe and report to the radiologist any symptoms which have direct bearing on the patient's condition as a result of adverse reaction to contrast media and inform the radiologist of any condition requiring his/her attention. Recognize the need for and institute the necessary emergency measures for situations where a person requires resuscitation procedures due to cardiac or respiratory arrest

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ARRT Certification
  • Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • 1 years of CT experience
  • Basic Life Support
  • NACI background check
