Overview

The CT Technologist operates within the mission, values, objectives, procedures, and policies of the Health System. This role involves the execution of various CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, which may require independent judgment. The technologist is expected to demonstrate creativity and initiative in performing ionizing radiation procedures utilized for radiological diagnoses. Additionally, there may be a need to undertake supplementary responsibilities associated with designated duties.

It is essential to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients, physicians, and colleagues. • ARRT registry in CT is preferred or must be obtained within one year of eligibility upon hire.
• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiography Technology program or an equivalent program is required.
