Position Summary

A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a CT professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic CT procedures. The scope of practice of the CT Technologist includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (R)(CT) registry(s) which is the standard of practice in Radiology.

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMCTB, or ARRT (T) and must pass CT registry test within 18 months of hire.

About ECU Health Chowan Hospital

ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25‑bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7‑bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
