Computed Tomography (CT) Tech Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together

Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, TX 75033

Work hours: PRN, as needed with holiday requirements but no call requirements

Here’s What You Need
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (Required) or
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred)

Experience requirements vary based on certification:

  • 1 Year radiologic technician experience without ARRT-CT, or
  • No experience with ARRT-CT, or
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire (Required), with specifics based on experience.

Additional certifications required include:

  • ARRT - CT (Required upon hire, with or without radiology technician experience)
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Required upon hire)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required before patient care and maintained quarterly)
What You Will Do
  • Perform imaging procedures, explain procedures to patients, position patients, assist radiologists, and ensure image quality.
  • Provide patient care, assess patient conditions, prepare examination rooms, handle medical devices, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
