Anthropic Limited is seeking a Manager, Compute Accounting to own the accounting lifecycle for compute and cloud spend. You will manage accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and journal entries while ensuring GAAP compliance and robust controls.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to scale processes, implement automation, and support audits as Anthropic's compute footprint grows across providers.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of progressive operational accounting experience.
• CPA (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Hands-on month-end close experience with accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Responsabilidades

• Own the accounting lifecycle for compute and cloud infrastructure expenses, ensuring accurate recording through monthly close, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, journal entries, and flux analysis.
• Review cloud service provider contracts for proper accounting treatment, commitment tracking, and contract terms compliance.
• Track and reconcile commitment-based agreements and multi-year purchase obligations.
• Perform accounts payable and vendor statement reconciliations to ensure billing accuracy.
• Build scalable processes and controls, and develop reporting and monitoring of compute spending patterns.
• Support internal and external audit requests on compute cost accounting and disclosure matters.
