SRC, Inc. is currently seeking Computational Scientist based out of our Herndon, VA, Syracuse, NY or Charlottesville, VA office (remote telework options available). The selected candidate will perform a technical role in our Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Services team in the Environmental Health Analysis business area. Position will be responsible for development and integration of chemical property estimation, hazard prediction modeling and simulation, and cheminformatic software to characterize existing and emerging threats. Projects focus on chemical property estimation, hazard prediction modeling, and cheminformatic software to characterize existing and emerging threats. This candidate will work with a dynamic and successful team to perform CBRN hazard/risk characterizations, toxicological analyses, data analysis technical reports, and help manage development of innovative scientific decision support software tools and models for our customers. This candidate will support various programs for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Environmental Protection Agency, Centers for Disease Control, and related agencies.
