Job description

Computational Physics/Aerosciences Engineer

Support ongoing projects in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), flight vehicle analysis, and numerical methods supporting multiphysics modeling.

Support method development for analysis of air vehicles in complex flow environments, study of internal or multi-phase flows, multiphysics modeling of particulate and/or aerosol transport, and flight vehicle aeromechanics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. PhD in a related field, preferably including independent research or work experience performed in this area, though a MS/MEng and sufficient experience may be considered.
  2. Computer programming experience, numerical methods development and/or interface development in legacy and modern programming languages (e.g., FORTRAN, C, and C++) is required.
  3. Experience developing software for High Performance Computing environments, GPUs, or real-time applications is desirable.
