Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer/Scientist specializing in Computational Electrodynamics, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing simulation software using advanced numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD). This position requires a deep understanding of computational electromagnetics, excellent C++ programming skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific computing, numerical simulation, and electromagnetic theory and computation.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop computational electrodynamics simulation using C++
  • Design and implement algorithms to solve complex computational electrodynamics problems
  • Work closely with scientists and engineers to integrate computational tools into real-world applications
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of existing codebases
  • Contribute to research publications, technical documentation, and presentations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation in computational electromagnetics


Requirements

  • Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming, with experience in software development for scientific applications
  • Experience with numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM)
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetics and computational physics
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex algorithms for large-scale simulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with parallel computing and high-performance computing (HPC)
  • Familiarity with scientific visualization tools and libraries
  • Knowledge of additional simulation techniques such as Boundary Element Method (BEM) or Method of Moments (MoM)
