DataAnnotation is seeking a Chemist to evaluate AI chemical reasoning, flag unsafe or implausible mechanisms, and draft precise solutions for complex questions.
You will write prompts to probe mechanisms, review model outputs for errors, and provide the final correct answers with careful attention to reaction conditions and safety, enabling safer, more trustworthy AI-assisted chemistry work. The role is flexible, remote, and project-based, welcoming contributors from across the United States.
Models routinely propose impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and syntheses that no bench chemist would attempt.
As a Chemist you'll evaluate AI chemical reasoning, catch what's wrong or unsafe, and write the answers a trained chemist would give.
Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
DataAnnotation is where 100k+ experts train the world’s leading AI models. $150M+ paid to contributors to date, and the average contributor stays 5+ years. Flexible, remote, and always project-available.
