DataAnnotation is seeking a Chemist to evaluate AI chemical reasoning, write prompts that probe mechanisms, syntheses, and spectra interpretation. You will review AI outputs for unsafe or incorrect reasoning and provide the correct, safety-conscious answers.
Ideal candidates have graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent lab experience and are comfortable across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry with clear written English. Remote and flexible project-based work are common.
Models routinely propose impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and syntheses that no bench chemist would attempt.
As a Chemist you'll evaluate AI chemical reasoning, catch what's wrong or unsafe, and write the answers a trained chemist would give.
