Job summary

Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a Compressor Technician - Testing & Commissioning to join our Manufacturing team. You will set up, start, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and test gas and electric compressor systems before they leave our facility, handling pressures, temperatures, flows, vibration, instrumentation, and performance data to ensure safety and reliability.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to understand P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and test gas and electric compressor systems before they leave the facility.
Work with pressures, temperatures, flows, vibration, instrumentation, and performance data to ensure safety and reliability.
Read and interpret P&IDs and mechanical drawings and follow test procedures.
Collaborate with team to ensure equipment is ready for the customer.
