Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a Compressor Technician - Testing & Commissioning to join our Manufacturing team. You will set up, start, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and test gas and electric compressor systems before they leave the facility.
You will work with pressures, temperatures, flows, vibration, instrumentation, and performance data to ensure the equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the customer. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Compressor test-loop and instrumentation experience is a plus—but strong compressor and mechanical experience matters.

Experience with natural gas compressors, engines, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to safely operate, monitor, and test compressor equipment.
Basic knowledge of pressure, temperature, instrumentation, and controls.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and test procedures.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
Dependable, team-oriented, and able to communicate effective.
High school diploma or GED.
20-25 Hourly Wage
