Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Atlanta, GA seeks an Service Technician to install, service and repair air compressors and related equipment. You will monitor sites, diagnose issues, and communicate needs while maintaining a clean, safe work vehicle and documentation of service reports.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience with rotary screw or oil-free/oil-flooded compressors, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment at DIRECTAIR sites across the region.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond proactively to issues.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and order parts needed at sites.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
