Job summary

Red Cedar Gathering Company in Durango, CO, is seeking a field equipment operator to run and maintain the engines, compressors, generators and dehydration systems at our field compression facilities.

The role requires 3–12 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors, a HS diploma, and flexibility for rotating shifts, on-call duties, overtime, and weekend work. Residence within 50 miles of the plant or Bondad office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–12 years’ experience operating/maintaining natural gas engines and compressors.
• Knowledge of gas dehydration systems and pumps (positive displacement, centrifugal, gear).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, on-call, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Residence within 50 miles of the plant or Bondad office.

Job description

Responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment at all Red Cedar Field Compression facilities, including engine/compressor, generators, and dehydration. Performs work related to the repair and ongoing maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must have three to 12 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of natural gas engines and compressors.
• Must have knowledge of gas dehydration systems, positive displacement, centrifugal and gear pumps, and filter systems.
• Must be able to work under a rotating workweek schedule, including an on-call schedule and be available for overtime and weekend duty as needed.
• Must live within a 50 mile radius of the plant facility or the Bondad office.
