Job summary

RWDY Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician I or II in Midkiff, TX to support compressor maintenance and equipment reliability. The role includes maintaining compressor packages, diagnosing issues, and providing feedback on operations.

You will assist with preventive maintenance planning, work under safety guidelines, and collaborate with mechanics at various field locations. Strong engine experience and basic repair skills are required.

Qualifications

• Caterpillar engine experience is required.
• Waukesha engine experience is highly preferred.
• Ariel compressor experience is highly preferred.
• ExxonMobil is seeking candidates with fewer than 10 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OEM training, trade school or comparable work experience in a related field or industry is preferred.
• At least one year of compression process, production and equipment-related experience and/or training.
• Some knowledge of gas processes and motor-driven compressors.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of compressor packages, components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and assist in the maintenance of compressor packages and equipment.
• Provide feedback on the operation of compressor packages.
• Support planning and organization of preventive maintenance and other maintenance activities.
• May assist mechanics at other field locations.
• The technician must have entry-level diagnostic and repair skills.
