Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking candidates for Compressor Assembly- 1st shift in Huntington, Indiana. This on-site role involves assembling compressors on a busy production line, reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality throughout the process.

The position requires standing for long periods and possible heavy lifting with hoist assistance. Starting pay is $20.88 per hour plus a $1 per hour differential, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and shop orders.
• Comfortable reading technical documentation and performing quality inspections.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components on a production line with accuracy, quality and efficiency.
• Use tools and equipment to fasten, fit or cut parts per instructions and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment while working in a fast-paced setting.
• Stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting with hoist assistance as required.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain production flow and meet daily targets.
• Complete first piece inspection sheets to verify compressors meet quality standards.
