Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently accepted into a technical, vocational, or community college program related to Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or HVAC/Industrial Systems.
- Strong interest in hands-on mechanical work.
- Willingness to work in industrial environments.
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain during program).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied physical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior service technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, dryers, filters, drains, and ancillary equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance activities, including oil changes, filter replacement, and belt inspections.
- Observe and assist with troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Learn proper use of diagnostic tools and service documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in toolbox talks.
