Job summary

American Academy of Ophthalmology is seeking an ophthalmologist to join a physician-led practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Ocean Springs and Pascagoula locations offer dedicated cataract and anterior segment surgery opportunities with access to a modern multispecialty ASC.

The position features premium equipment, including latest Alcon systems, and a clinic schedule designed for dedicated surgery time with no routine call.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Experience in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery preferred.
• Cornea/anterior segment experience welcomed.
• Fellowship not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cataract and anterior segment procedures.
• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care to patients.
• Collaborate with the ASC for case scheduling and throughput.
• Maintain high-quality patient care with a focus on surgical outcomes.
