Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Compounding Technician to support the preparation of medications and contribute to animal health. You will mix formulas, weigh ingredients, and operate lab equipment in a fast-paced onsite environment across locations (Chandler, AZ and Swedesboro, NJ).

You will follow pharmacy procedures, maintain records, and participate in quality checks to ensure accuracy and safety. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and Chandler residents must hold AZ licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AZ Certified Pharmacy Technician license required for Chandler, AZ.
• Experience in fast-paced environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mixing pharmaceutical ingredients following compounding formulas.
• Measuring and weighing ingredients with precision.
• Operating blending and lab production equipment.
• Following pharmacy procedures for safe medication preparation.
• Maintaining batch documentation and production records.
• Performing quality checks to ensure product accuracy.
• Keeping lab workstations clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
• Collaborating with team to meet daily production goals.
• Ensuring medications are produced safely, accurately, and on time.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED
• * For Chandler, AZ Only: Must have a Certified Pharmacy Technician license through the AZ State Board of Pharmacy
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Basic math skills including averages, ratios, and measurements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Positive, dependable, and team‑oriented mindset
