Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Silver Spring, MD, for a Compounding Technician. In this role, you will prepare customized medications to meet individual patient needs by following prescriptions and guidelines. Daily responsibilities include measuring, mixing, and compounding pharmaceutical ingredients, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, and maintaining proper documentation. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are essential for this position. Other duties include collaborating with pharmacists to ensure the highest quality of compounded products.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Compounding and Pharmacy-related knowledge
• Must have an active pharmacy technician license and some compounding experience.
• Laboratory skills and experience working in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members
• Attention to detail and a strong ability to follow safety and regulatory guidelines
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or pharmacy technician certification is a plus
