Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with medication preparation, labeling, and safe handling in a clean room environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, basic math skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. On-site work in Minnesota is expected with standard pharmacy duties and documentation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing: assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies per policies and state regulations.
• Prepares medications for accurate compounding.
• Inspects and labels medications and ensures proper packaging.
• Site & Supplies/Equipment Maintenance: keep pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods clean; inspect equipment and logs.
• Maintain temperature and cleaning logs; support recording of incidents as needed.
