Actalent in Fairfield, OH, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support compounding and fulfillment by assisting pharmacists with prescription prep, packaging, and order processing. You will maintain patient records, support inventory control, and deliver responsive customer service while following regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, inventory management, and ensuring confidentiality in a non-retail environment.

Formación

• Experience in prescription processing and medication handling.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and documentation practices.
• Accurate entry of prescription and patient information into systems.
• Attention to detail and patient confidentiality.
• Customer service and clear communication with patients and colleagues.
• CPhT certification or eligibility.
• Compounding experience, especially sterile compounding.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with prescription preparation, packaging, and order fulfillment under supervision.
• Enter prescription and patient information accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Support inventory management, stocking, cycle counts, and expirations.
• Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidentiality.
• Assist with prescription pick-up and respond to patient inquiries.
• Adhere to pharmacy procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, compliant compounding and fulfillment environment.

Proficient experience level (23 years) in pharmacy/compounding

Advanced experience (4+ years) in pharmacy/compounding

Sterile compounding experience preferred
