Job summary

Cincinnati Eye Institute, based in Blue Ash, Ohio, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the compounding pharmacist in a closed-door, non-retail setting. The role involves clerical duties, customer service, and housekeeping to keep the pharmacy running smoothly.

Responsibilities include stocking the cleanroom, inventory control, prescription processing, and possible compounding under supervision. Requires Ohio tech certification or ability to obtain within 6 months and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy technician certification in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with pharmacy software and prescription entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans the pharmacy room according to SOP.
• Stocks the cleanroom with compounding supplies.
• Monitors usage and maintains drug inventory.
• Reviews, documents and files prescriptions.
• Prints drug orders, logs orders, enters prescriptions, prints labels.
• May compound drugs under pharmacist supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
