Qualifications

• PCCA Compounding training
• Ability to adhere to all safety standards and wear personal protective equipment
• Knowledge of insurance and third-party payment systems

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist-in-charge and staff pharmacists with day-to-day activities
• Help patients with prescription orders and updating patient information
• Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams

Skills

Strong communication skills

Professional demeanor

Knowledge of medication brand and generic names

Understanding of medical terminology and calculations

Ability to respect confidentiality of patient data

Education

High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree
