Job summary

Dinno Health, Acton Pharmacy, is seeking a Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will develop skills to compound prescriptions and support pharmacists.

You will handle preparing suspensions, capsules, creams, and other formulations, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with SOPs. The role requires attention to detail, math proficiency, and ability to work standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mathematics skills and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks.
• Staying composed under deadline pressure.
• Scrubs or professional attire required; PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Compounds suspensions, capsules, troches, creams, & other preparations.
• Assist pharmacist with prescriptions, verifying accuracy.
• Label containers and fill bottles with prescribed medications.
• Provide information on compound ingredients, dosage and storage.
• Maintain patient profiles and enter prescriptions accurately.
• Assist in inventory management of labels, meds and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and SOPs; ensure proper storage of medications.
• Develop knowledge of BHRT, veterinary meds, pain management.
• Attend external meetings/trainings as needed.
