Curexa Pharmacy in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will prepare customized medications, ensure accurate calculations, and maintain regulatory compliance as part of our pharmacy services.

The ideal candidate will have current registration/certification and familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems, with in-house training offered as needed. Competitive hourly pay accompanies a full-time schedule.

Description

Compounding Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing customized medications, ensuring accuracy in calculations, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have:

• Medication & Compounding Expertise: Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques. (Preferred; Training Offered)
• Technical & Math Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy information systems, computer operations, and precise mathematical calculations. Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
• Communication & Decision-Making: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently. Effective computer and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current pharmacy technician registration/certification
• Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems

Schedule

Day shift 8:00AM- 4:00PM or 9:00AM-5:00PM (Your set work schedule and days are assigned based strictly on operational needs.)

Rate if Pay

$18.50- $22.25 (Tier based on experience)

Requirements

Ability to commute: Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Education: High School or Equivalent.

Must attain state Pharmacy Technician License (registration). Must have or be willing to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification via NHA, PTCB, or Curexa In-House program.
